Steve Stewart

Pastor Steve grew up in the Fallowfield area (just west of Ottawa). At the age of ten, he began to realize that Jesus was more than a historical figure, but that Jesus was still alive and desired a personal relationship with him. So recognizing that God loved him and was offering him eternal life, one stormy Friday night in November, he decided to trust Christ, and become his follower. During High School he felt the call of God on his life, and upon graduation committed his life to full-time service to God. He went out to Winnipeg and graduated with a BA from Providence Bible College. Then he went south to Dallas Theological Seminary where he received a ThM. He then spent over five years, ministering in Kingston, Ontario as an Assistant Pastor. Then in 1992, he moved to the Stittsville area to plant Community Bible Church. He married Pam in 1986 and they now have three children: Amanda, Benjamin, and Jordan.
