The Walk for Water was a great success. Thank you to all of you who helped out by supporting the event through your time and/or donations! To date $15,322 has been raised from this event, Thanks so much to the walkers!
Join Community Bible Church for our Walk for Water, raising funds to build an accessible water source and filtration system for our friends in Seje, Kenya, Africa.
We have partnered with Water Missions International for construction of the water filtration system. They are an engineering relief and development Christian non-profit organization. Its engineers, staff and volunteers design and provide sustainable, safe water solutions worldwide and in more than 40 developing countries. To celebrate your fundraising efforts as a community, the walk will be followed by a BBQ and closing ceremonies at the church. All are welcome at the BBQ. This will be a paid event.
People in Seje walk close to 4 km to get water every day. |
